PaperJoin merges PDFs directly on your workstation, without uploading them to a website or cloud PDF service. Once downloaded, it works offline with local files—no account, subscription, or online activation required.

What does “offline” cover?
The app can merge PDFs already stored on your device with the internet disconnected. Downloading the app requires internet access. Cloud-synced folders, network drives, your operating system, and the external PDF viewer used for Windows previews have their own network behavior. Choose local, non-synced files and an approved local output folder when your workflow must stay on-device.

Getting started on Mac
Extract the ZIP and open PaperJoin.app. You can move it to Applications. Add two or more PDFs, arrange them, and choose Merge PDFs. Select a document to preview it in the app. This download is for Apple Silicon Macs.
Getting started on Windows
Extract the ZIP into a folder and run PaperJoin.exe. No separate .NET installation is required. Add PDFs or drop them onto the document list. Use Move up and Move down, then Merge PDFs. Open preview uses your default PDF viewer.
What to expect from this release
PaperJoin merges complete documents. It does not include OCR, compression, page-level editing, or password entry. Use unlocked copies of encrypted files. Document-level bookmarks and digital signatures may not carry over. Large documents can use substantial memory.
The Mac app was built and launch-checked on Apple Silicon. The Windows merge engine was tested on macOS and the Windows executable was cross-compiled. Its Windows interface has not yet been tested on a Windows PC. These downloads are development builds. An independent HIPAA compliance assessment is not available for this release. PaperJoin does not provide its own user-access controls or encrypt output PDFs; those protections need to come from your approved device and storage setup.
